This event will evaluate the team's firefighting skills, physical stamina and mental condition. The participant will carry a load of hose up a ladder, lift a hose by rope, use a sledgehammer to drive a railroad tie or "sled", advance a charged hoseline, and drag a rescue dummy. This is a required preliminary event for the Firefighting competition, but teams may participate in this event separately.
