This event gives water rescue teams the opportunity for demanding, realistic competition. Team members demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to effectively perform rescue and assists, manage diving accidents, and perform basic underwater rescue and navigation in a safe, efficient manner. Competition evaluation is based on 3 areas: Written examination, underwater skills and safety, and on-site preparation and management.
